Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas (lobbies, corridors, restrooms, etc.) to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Change bed linen and towels, make beds, and ensure all room amenities are replenished accurately.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, and dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces meticulously.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with hotel procedures and environmental guidelines.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers/bathtubs, and restock toiletries.
- Report any observed maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors for prompt resolution.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order, ensuring proper handling, cleaning, and storage after each use.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines for cleaning chemicals, and hotel-specific safety protocols.
- Assist guests with minor requests or politely direct them to the appropriate staff members for further assistance.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team, supervisors, and other hotel departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
