We are actively seeking diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Cleaning Staff to join our dynamic team, servicing various reputable hotels within the Broadmoor area of Richmond, BC. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies (toiletries, towels, stationery, etc.)
- Inspect and ensure all amenities are in working order and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle and dispose of waste and recyclables properly and in accordance with hotel policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, linen closets, and storage rooms.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, responding to requests or escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Work efficiently and independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing, and pulling.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with various cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Basic communication skills in English.
