Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage reservations, including inputting new bookings, modifying existing ones, and handling cancellations accurately.
- Address guest inquiries, provide detailed information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Process payments, manage cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized front desk area.
- Answer phone calls, direct calls, and take messages with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with luggage handling and coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, concierge) to fulfill guest requests.
- Monitor daily activity logs and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Promote hotel amenities and special offers to guests.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS, Fidelio, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.
- A positive attitude and a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
