Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Wash, sterilize, and properly store all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles, ensuring waste is disposed of properly and according to hotel guidelines.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, under the direct supervision of kitchen staff.
  • Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized janitorial closet and storage areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
