Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform basic plumbing duties such as unclogging drains, fixing leaky faucets, and addressing minor toilet issues.
  • Conduct minor electrical repairs, including changing light bulbs, replacing outlets, and troubleshooting simple wiring problems.
  • Handle painting, drywall patching, and other cosmetic repairs to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the hotel.
  • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, and work sites.
  • Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Report larger repair needs or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge and ability to use common hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers).
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
