Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues such as leaky faucets, clogged drains, faulty lights, and minor electrical problems.
- Conduct minor repairs and installations in guest rooms and common areas, including carpentry, painting, and wall patching.
- Inspect hotel facilities regularly to identify and address potential maintenance concerns before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment for events and conferences as required.
- Manage and organize the maintenance workshop and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects when necessary.
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including fire safety and evacuation drills.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker, ideally within a hotel or hospitality setting.
