Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
- Set up trays and tables with proper linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments according to hotel standards.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before delivery, checking for quality and presentation.
- Clear used dishes, glassware, and equipment from guest rooms and corridors, maintaining tidiness.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide menu explanations, and make recommendations as requested.
- Process guest checks and handle payments accurately, adhering to hotel cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry, equipment, and work areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front desk, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, ensuring a positive and memorable in-room dining experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
