Leribe Lodge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our esteemed team in Ha Rasekila, Leribe. As a Housekeeper, you will be the cornerstone of our guest experience, playing a vital role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and comfort that Leribe Lodge is celebrated for. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to our guests feeling welcomed, relaxed, and utterly delighted during their stay.
This full-time position involves a dynamic range of tasks, from diligently cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and common areas to ensuring all amenities are well-stocked and presented beautifully. You will be responsible for upholding our strict hygiene protocols, using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure every corner of our lodge sparkles. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities daily.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and polish surfaces.
- Empty wastebaskets, service ashtrays, and remove rubbish.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, and sinks.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest room amenities, reporting needs to management.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other lodge staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues at all times.
