As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities at Makhoarane Lodge. Your daily efforts will ensure that our lodge consistently meets the highest standards of hygiene and aesthetic appeal, creating a welcoming and pristine environment for everyone. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, possesses a strong work ethic, and has a positive, can-do attitude. You will receive thorough on-the-job training covering all aspects of professional housekeeping, including proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning products, safety protocols, and guest service standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Replenish guest room amenities and supplies according to lodge standards.
  • Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards found in guest rooms or public areas to the supervisor promptly.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, including front desk staff and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to guests while maintaining professional conduct.
