As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities at Makhoarane Lodge. Your daily efforts will ensure that our lodge consistently meets the highest standards of hygiene and aesthetic appeal, creating a welcoming and pristine environment for everyone. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room amenities and supplies according to lodge standards.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards found in guest rooms or public areas to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including front desk staff and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to guests while maintaining professional conduct.
