Key Responsibilities
- Perform general and deep cleaning of all residential areas, including living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, showers, and other bathroom surfaces.
- Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry as per household requirements.
- Change bed linens and towels regularly.
- Organize and tidy rooms, closets, and common areas.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse appropriately.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management/client when reordering is necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle delicate items and surfaces with utmost care.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in residential cleaning or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of various cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal) in English or Swahili.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Good physical stamina and agility to perform demanding tasks.
