Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming in assigned areas (rooms, common areas, corridors).
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to specific standards, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
- Stock and maintain the housekeeping trolley with supplies, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Report any technical issues, maintenance needs, or damage to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Work efficiently and independently, managing time to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and periodic tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant (minimum 6 months).
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly disposition.
- Prioritisation and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.
