Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy assigned rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, following established procedures and checklists.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, and polishing surfaces, ensuring all areas are pristine.
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms and public restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding, as required.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably within a hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 20kg), pushing, and prolonged standing/walking.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
