Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic HR Assistant with a strong focus on recruitment support to join our esteemed team at Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve more than just administrative tasks; you will be the first point of contact for many prospective candidates, representing the employer brand of Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with the HR Manager and department heads to understand staffing needs, develop compelling job advertisements, and ensure that our recruitment efforts align with our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full cycle of recruitment, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Manage and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely candidate data.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming and smooth integration into the team.
  • Maintain organized and confidential HR files and records, both physical and digital.
  • Support the HR Manager with various administrative tasks, HR projects, and initiatives as needed.
  • Assist in organizing internal company events and employee engagement activities.
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and job opportunities.
  • Generate recruitment-related reports and provide insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • A keen interest in human resources and a desire to learn and grow within the field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in an HR administrative or recruitment support role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and regulations.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
