As an HR Data Assistant, you will be the backbone of our data operations, responsible for precise data entry, meticulous record-keeping, and generating insightful reports that empower our HR leadership to make strategic decisions. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and other internal stakeholders to provide essential data support, develop and execute reporting strategies, and assist with special projects designed to optimize our talent acquisition, management, and retention strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update HR databases and information systems (HRIS) with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc HR reports on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, attendance, and recruitment pipeline.
- Assist in data clean-up projects, ensuring data consistency and integrity across all platforms.
- Support the HR team with data entry, record-keeping, and documentation for employee lifecycle events (onboarding, transfers, terminations).
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data requirements and provide data insights for various HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA) and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of data collection processes and reporting tools.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects as needed, including scheduling and material preparation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis functions).
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) or similar database management tools.
