Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing new hire paperwork and ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately and confidentially.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, including background checks and reference verification.
  • Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, both virtually and in-person.
  • Support the creation and distribution of onboarding materials, welcome kits, and departmental guides.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new hires, answering initial questions and providing guidance during their first few weeks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure new hires have necessary equipment and system access.
  • Assist in developing and improving onboarding processes and documentation for greater efficiency and a better employee experience.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles or a strong desire to learn and grow in the HR field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience, especially in a professional office setting.
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for remote communication.
