Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, empathetic, and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Apapa, Lagos. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about HR to play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions. As an HR Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our HR department, providing crucial administrative support across various HR disciplines, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Your meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with utmost discretion will be vital in maintaining a positive and productive work environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring our HR processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-centric, directly contributing to our organizational success and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all new employee paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support employee relations by acting as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries, providing information, and escalating complex issues to senior HR management when necessary.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension, and leave management, ensuring employees understand their entitlements.
  • Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as employment verification letters, promotion letters, and termination paperwork, adhering to company policy.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including training and development programs, performance management cycles, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies, staying abreast of relevant regulatory changes to advise management.
  • Generate various HR reports as required by management for strategic decision-making and operational oversight.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, employee events, and training sessions, including logistics, scheduling, and preparing necessary materials.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, HRCI, SHRM Associate).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws specific to Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Proficiency in using a specific HRIS (mention if applicable, e.g., BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
