Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resources Officer specializing in Overseas Placement to join our vibrant team in New Orleans, LA. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of overseas recruitment and placement, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding international candidates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during their international transition, providing comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Research, interpret, and ensure compliance with international labor laws, immigration regulations, visa requirements, and cultural considerations for various countries.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation for visa applications, work permits, and other international clearances.
  • Coordinate relocation logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodation support, and initial cultural integration programs.
  • Develop and implement robust pre-departure orientations and post-arrival support programs to ensure successful candidate integration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, client relations) to streamline processes and resolve issues related to international placements.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all international placements, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Stay abreast of global immigration policy changes, international HR best practices, and industry trends to proactively advise on strategy.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of company policies and procedures related to international mobility and global assignments.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on international recruitment or overseas placement.
  • Proven knowledge of international labor laws, immigration processes, and visa requirements across multiple countries.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate cross-cultural communication challenges.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., GPHR, SHRM-SCP, PHRca).
  • Fluency in a second language, particularly one relevant to common placement regions.
  • Experience working with a global mobility or international staffing agency.
