Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Yonge–Finch, Toronto. This full-time, immediate hire role is crucial for ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all new employees, setting the foundation for their success within our organization. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact, guiding new hires through pre-employment processes, orientation, and initial integration. You’ll play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to an exceptional employee experience from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding processes: including pre-employment checks, necessary paperwork, and system setups.
- Coordinate and facilitate engaging new hire orientation sessions, both virtual and in-person.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new employees, providing initial support and answering queries during their first few weeks.
- Collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners, IT, and hiring managers to ensure new hire readiness, including equipment and access.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Identify opportunities and implement improvements to the onboarding process to enhance efficiency and new hire satisfaction.
- Assist with general HR administrative tasks and special projects as required to support the broader HR function.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an HR administrative or coordination role, with a dedicated focus on onboarding.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment or staffing agency environment.
- Familiarity with Canadian employment laws and best practices.
