Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the provided HVAC training program, demonstrating a strong eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC equipment using diagnostic tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of client systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Document work performed, including parts used and hours spent, accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, explaining technical issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
