Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to users regarding hardware, software, and basic network issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the ICT center, including all workstations, peripherals, and common areas.
- Assist users with logging in, accessing applications, printing services, and general computer operations, offering patient and clear guidance.
- Proactively monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all ICT equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and projectors.
- Escalate complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting or specialized knowledge to senior IT staff or managers as necessary.
- Install and configure basic software applications, system updates, and security patches under supervision, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage user accounts and permissions for various systems, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct routine checks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on ICT equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and IT resources within the center.
- Educate users on best practices for computer usage, data security, and responsible online behavior to foster a secure environment.
- Generate simple reports on daily activities, common issues encountered, and inventory status to aid in operational planning and improvements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and software applications.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with diverse users and team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a logical and methodical approach.
