Job Description
Are you a dynamic and results-driven marketing professional with a passion for digital trends and a knack for negotiation? Tanganda Tea Company Limited is seeking an Influencer Marketing & Media Negotiation Specialist to join our evolving marketing team. While our roots are firmly planted in the beautiful landscapes of Manicaland, we understand the power of digital reach, and this role offers a remote option, allowing you to contribute from Buhera or anywhere suitable, while remaining connected to our vibrant brand.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in expanding Tanganda’s digital footprint and enhancing brand visibility through strategic influencer collaborations and media partnerships. You will identify, engage, and manage relationships with key influencers, content creators, and media outlets whose values align with Tanganda’s commitment to quality, natural products, and community. This isn’t just about finding partners; it’s about crafting compelling campaigns, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring a strong return on investment. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to integrate influencer activities into broader marketing strategies, monitoring performance and adapting approaches to achieve optimal results. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, vet, and establish relationships with relevant influencers and media partners across various platforms.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and compensation for influencer campaigns and media placements to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximum impact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive influencer marketing strategies aligned with Tanganda Tea's brand objectives and marketing calendar.
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns, from brief creation and content approval to performance tracking and reporting.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in influencer marketing and digital media.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and integration of influencer content with broader campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of influencer and media activities, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Maintain strong relationships with media agencies, PR firms, and individual content creators.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant advertising standards and brand guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, media buying, or digital PR.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, analytics tools, and content trends.
- Ability to identify and vet authentic, high-performing influencers and media channels.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Shona or Ndebele is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) brands, especially in the food and beverage sector.
- Familiarity with the Zimbabwean media landscape and local influencer ecosystem.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
- A portfolio demonstrating successful influencer campaigns or media negotiation outcomes.
