Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security systems and solutions to protect enterprise data, applications, and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the incident response process, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-mortem analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) and implement DevSecOps principles.
- Monitor security systems for anomalies, investigate security breaches, and manage security events.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security technologies and tools to enhance our security posture.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees across the organization.
- Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security auditing tools
- Familiarity with industry security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation of security tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
