Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing, deployment, and release management.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated solutions for incident response and self-healing.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all automation processes and infrastructure designs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve automation capabilities and efficiency.
- Document infrastructure designs, automation procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure support, as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
