Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect for new clients and generate leads through diverse channels, including networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to meticulously understand clients' goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situations.
  • Present, clearly explain, and effectively sell a wide range of life, health, and investment-linked insurance products tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and diligently maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, regular policy reviews, and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist clients empathetically and efficiently with the claims process, ensuring timely submission of documentation and compassionate guidance through critical moments.
  • Stay current with evolving market trends, new product offerings, and all relevant regulatory changes within the insurance industry.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all client interactions, sales activities, and policy information in accordance with company standards.
  • Actively participate in mandatory training programs, workshops, and continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Represent Guardian Life Limited with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct at all times.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (1+ years) in insurance sales, financial services, or direct sales roles.
  • An existing network or strong connections within the New Castle/Kingston community.
  • Completion of industry-recognized designations such as LUTC, CLU, or ChFC.
  • In-depth knowledge of local insurance regulations and market dynamics in Jamaica.
