Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from initial notification through to final settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather necessary documentation, and interview relevant parties to assess claim validity and quantum.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders, keeping them informed of claim status and explaining complex policy terms.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties, aiming for fair and cost-effective resolutions while mitigating potential risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on claim outcomes, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in the claims management system.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, legal, and customer service, to ensure seamless claims processing and client satisfaction.
