Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patent, trademark, and prior art searches using various databases and search tools.
- Analyze search results to identify relevant intellectual property and prepare detailed summaries and reports.
- Assist senior IP analysts and attorneys in preparing patent applications, trademark registrations, and other IP-related legal documents.
- Monitor intellectual property portfolios and track key deadlines for renewals, filings, and office actions.
- Support competitive intelligence gathering by analyzing competitor IP portfolios and market trends.
- Perform due diligence research to evaluate the intellectual property aspects of potential mergers, acquisitions, or licensing agreements.
- Organize and maintain intellectual property records, documents, and databases with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, R&D, and business development, to provide IP insights.
- Stay abreast of developments in intellectual property law, industry trends, and technological advancements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, legal, or related technical field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
