Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and verifying items.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and update records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all inventory procedures.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize inventory levels.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- Forklift certification or experience operating similar warehouse equipment.
- Experience with SAP or other major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
