You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing requirements for system changes and new developments. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and technological enhancement.
- Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements through various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories, use cases, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and quality assurance to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, presentations, and workshops, ensuring effective communication and consensus building.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Support the testing phase by developing test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and processes, providing guidance and support to project teams and end-users.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and tools within the organization.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques (e.g., interviewing, workshops, prototyping).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to create detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, BCS Diploma).
- Experience with specific industry software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
