Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior janitorial staff in performing a wide range of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and trash removal across various client facilities.
- Learn to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and industrial vacuums, under supervision.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas to specified standards and hygiene protocols.
- Restock supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other client areas as needed, ensuring availability for building occupants.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed on client premises to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients, building occupants, and colleagues.
- Participate actively in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance cleaning skills and knowledge of industry best practices.
- Support special cleaning projects or deep cleaning initiatives as assigned by team leads or supervisors.
Required Skills

- Basic understanding of health and safety principles in a workplace setting.

- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a service-oriented role (e.g., hospitality, retail, customer service).
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment (comprehensive training will be provided regardless).
- A valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be an asset for certain multi-site positions, but not strictly required for all roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and report issues.
