Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials required.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to construct articles such as window frames, doors, staircases, furniture, and cabinetry.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform cutting, shaping, and finishing tasks.
- Install fabricated components, including frames, doors, windows, and fittings on-site, ensuring precision and alignment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all company and industry safety standards.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespersons and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Joiner, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship.
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity required for manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Red Seal certification in Carpentry or Joinery.
