Key Responsibilities

- Draft memoranda, summaries, and reports on complex legal issues for the judge's review.

- Manage case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
- Provide administrative support to the judge, including scheduling, correspondence, and coordination with legal counsel and court staff.
- Attend court proceedings, hearings, and conferences, taking detailed notes and contributing to post-hearing discussions.
- Liaise with court registry, legal practitioners, and other stakeholders to facilitate judicial processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and changes in legislation relevant to the court's jurisdiction.
Required Skills
- Completion of a full German law degree (Erstes und Zweites Staatsexamen)
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research and analytical writing
- Proficiency in German legal terminology and drafting standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and professional integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a legal clerk, research assistant, or during 'Referendariat' within a court or legal institution.
