Career.zycto is actively seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior IT Support Analyst to join our expanding technology team in Laval, Quebec. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Respond to IT support requests, incidents, and problems, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and termination in various systems (e.g., Active Directory).
- Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring compatibility and proper functionality.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles to improve efficiency and self-service options.
- Perform basic network diagnostics and assist with printer maintenance and connectivity issues.
- Educate users on IT best practices and security awareness.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex technical issues and projects.
- Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets and equipment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in IT or related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated passion for technology and a strong desire to learn IT concepts and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is a strong asset for Montreal).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows OS preferred).
