As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, assisting them with a wide range of hardware, software, and network-related issues. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Log, track, and manage support tickets using our helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and standard business applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues and Wi-Fi problems.
- Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and password resets.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and system usage.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as directed by senior IT staff.
- Adhere to IT security policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and system security.
