Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking an energetic, charismatic, and music-loving Karaoke Host to lead our nightly singing sessions! As a Karaoke Host, you are the heart and soul of our entertainment, responsible for creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. You’ll be the master of ceremonies, guiding singers, managing song queues, and injecting contagious enthusiasm into the room. This isn’t just about playing tracks; it’s about building a community, encouraging participation, and ensuring everyone, from the shy first-timer to the seasoned performer, feels welcome and celebrated. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, lively night-time environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a genuine passion for music and people. Key Responsibilities
- Operate karaoke equipment, including microphones, sound system, and monitor displays, ensuring optimal performance.
- Manage song requests efficiently, maintaining a fair and engaging rotation for all participants.
- Introduce singers with enthusiasm and provide encouragement throughout their performance.
- Maintain a lively and welcoming atmosphere, actively engaging with guests and promoting participation.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with karaoke equipment promptly.
- Manage crowd energy, encouraging applause and positive interaction among guests.
- Adhere to all venue policies, including those related to responsible service of alcohol and guest safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized karaoke station.
- Promote upcoming events and special promotions within the venue.
- Collaborate with bar staff and management to ensure a smooth and enjoyable night for all.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor conflicts professionally and courteously.
