Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising workstations, and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, and cooking equipment are clean and properly stored.
- Support the culinary team during service by ensuring ingredients are readily available and organised.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and quantity according to established procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with waste management and recycling initiatives to maintain a sustainable operation.
- Perform general kitchen duties as required to support the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
