Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and management of containerized applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, security, and resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and define optimal deployment strategies.
- Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes environments (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery within Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest Kubernetes features, ecosystem tools, and cloud-native trends.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Kubernetes (cluster setup, management, troubleshooting)
- Strong understanding of Docker and containerization best practices
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, or other distributed systems
