Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers in setting up and executing experiments following established protocols.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples accurately and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.
- Collect, record, and organize experimental data with precision and integrity.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as glassware washing, sterilization, and waste disposal.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, quality control procedures, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Maintain detailed and organized laboratory notebooks and digital records.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Learn and adapt to new experimental techniques and methodologies as required.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic laboratory safety procedures and GLP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
