Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare samples, reagents, solutions, and equipment necessary for experiments.
- Accurately record, analyze, and interpret data, maintaining detailed and organized laboratory notebooks.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Assist in the development and optimization of new laboratory procedures and research methodologies.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and chemicals, assisting with ordering and stock management.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
- Collaborate effectively with senior scientists and other team members on various R&D projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations and processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, solution preparation, sample handling)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow precise instructions and protocols
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
