Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Prepare chemical reagents, solutions, and samples according to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and analytical balances.
- Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and reagents.
- Accurately record and document experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, chemical handling procedures, and waste disposal regulations.
- Manage and organize laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Conduct basic data entry and assist with preliminary analysis of experimental findings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Fundamental understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
