Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, reagents, and samples for various experiments and analyses.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record, document, and maintain experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers in the execution of complex scientific experiments and research projects.
- Perform basic calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of chemicals and reagents.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety guidelines, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements within the laboratory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workstations, equipment, and common areas.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, solution preparation, sterile technique).
- Strong understanding and adherence to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
