Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation for experiments, ensuring all apparatus is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently, strictly following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document experimental procedures, observations, and results meticulously in lab notebooks and electronic systems, maintaining comprehensive records.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with complex experiments and data collection, providing technical support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage laboratory supplies and inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
- Conduct quality control checks on reagents and samples to ensure accuracy and reliability of experimental outcomes.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic laboratory equipment, performing minor maintenance and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Process and analyze samples according to project specifications, including preparation of solutions and media.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design, results interpretation, and project progress.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
