Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments accurately following established protocols.
  • Prepare and analyze samples using a variety of lab equipment including centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and pH meters.
  • Maintain meticulous and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations in lab notebooks and digital systems.
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware to ensure a sterile and safe working environment.
  • Assist senior researchers with experimental setup, data collection, and basic data entry and analysis.
  • Monitor, order, receive, and inventory laboratory supplies, reagents, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and report complex issues to senior technical staff promptly.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions and sharing insights.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or a closely related scientific field.
  • Basic theoretical and practical understanding of general laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, balances, microscopes).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions meticulously and work effectively both independently and as part of a team after training.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry and documentation.
  • A strong desire to learn, an inquisitive mind, and a genuine passion for scientific research.

Preferred Qualifications
