Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments accurately following established protocols.
- Prepare and analyze samples using a variety of lab equipment including centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and pH meters.
- Maintain meticulous and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware to ensure a sterile and safe working environment.
- Assist senior researchers with experimental setup, data collection, and basic data entry and analysis.
- Monitor, order, receive, and inventory laboratory supplies, reagents, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and report complex issues to senior technical staff promptly.
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions and sharing insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or a closely related scientific field.
- Basic theoretical and practical understanding of general laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in operating standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, balances, microscopes).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions meticulously and work effectively both independently and as part of a team after training.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
