Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, accurately recording results.
  • Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers).
  • Assist with experimental setup, data collection, and basic data entry/organization.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred).
  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
