Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process samples for various analytical tests and experiments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results.
- Assist senior researchers in conducting complex experiments and data interpretation.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and reagents, and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Sterilize and clean laboratory equipment and work areas to maintain a sterile environment.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to supervisors.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions and project planning.
Required Skills
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, centrifuges, pH meters).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and experimental execution.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
