Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, solutions, and media with precision.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Accurately record, compile, and summarize experimental data, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Assist senior researchers in setting up and conducting experiments, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in compliance with GLP and safety regulations.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies and reagents.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste properly and safely.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on experimental design and results.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong theoretical understanding of basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Proficiency in data recording and basic report generation.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong commitment to laboratory safety and quality control.
Preferred Qualifications
