Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior scientists and researchers in conducting various experiments and research projects.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results.
  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, including glassware washing, sterilization, and inventory management.
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report complex problems to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on experimental design and results.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge in chemistry, biology, or related scientific field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, preparing solutions).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
