Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and in optimal working condition.
- Conduct experiments under the direct supervision of senior scientists and technicians, strictly following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist with the precise collection, preparation, and analysis of samples across various research projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering rigorously to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform routine quality checks, minor troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering and stock management to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members on diverse research and development initiatives.
- Participate in data entry and preliminary analysis as required, contributing to research summaries.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and documentation practices.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional accuracy in all laboratory tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in data recording and basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions precisely and consistently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for team collaboration and reporting.
- A keen interest in scientific research and development, coupled with a proactive learning attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
