Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior scientists and researchers in setting up, conducting, and dismantling experiments.
- Prepare samples, reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses with precision and attention to detail.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, quality control standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and experimental procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on research projects and daily tasks.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational understanding of basic laboratory techniques and scientific principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
