Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, accurately recording observations and results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup and data collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and order laboratory supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and findings meticulously in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress and challenges.
- Support quality control and assurance processes for laboratory materials and products.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree or Diploma in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology).
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work methodically.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
