Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with precision for various laboratory experiments and analyses.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests and experiments accurately under the guidance of senior scientists and researchers.
- Accurately record and document all experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and electronic data management systems.
- Assist with the troubleshooting and minor repair of laboratory instruments to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure strict adherence to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory working environment at all times.
- Manage laboratory supplies and inventory, initiating procurement orders as needed to prevent operational interruptions.
- Properly dispose of chemical and biological waste according to established environmental and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members, actively sharing findings, contributing to team discussions, and supporting project goals.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a closely related scientific field.
